Provençal Pottery from Terre é Provence is artisanally made in Dieulefit in the heart of the Drome provençale. Each item is hand-painted - each piece is unique and in various patterns. The designs are inspired by Provençal drawings from the 18th century.

This provençal pottery is earthenware - made from fired clay. Because it is made with high quality clays and is fired at very high temperatures, the pottery is both dishwasher and microwave safe. Repeated use in microwave ovens can produce "crazing" - a web of lines on the surface of the glaze. This in no way effects the functionality of the piece.
