The Xochi Linen Collection Spring/Summer 2008

The name XOCHI, pronounced "so chee", is derived from the name of the Zapotec Indian goddess of weaving Xochiquetzal. The Xochi company was founded in 1992 in Oaxaca, Mexico by designer, Bianca Dresner. Together with the Zapotec Indians and their 1,500 years of experience in handloom weaving tradition, Bianca created Xochi. She has drawn on her years of experience in the apparel and textile design field to continually create an innovative line based on high color saturation, texture and "mix and match" coordination. Today, the linens are produced in India by talented weavers.
